OSHO: Using Imagination to Change Negative to Positive

First thing in the morning, imagine yourself tremendously happy. Get out of bed in a very happy mood — radiant, bubbling, expectant — as if something perfect, of infinite value, is going to happen today. Get out of the bed in a very positive and hopeful mood, with the feeling that this day is not going to be an ordinary day — that something exceptional, extraordinary, is waiting for you; something is very close by. Try and remember it again and again for the whole day. Within seven days you will see that your whole pattern, your whole style, your whole vibration, has changed.

When you go to sleep in the night, just imagine that you are falling into divine hands...as if existence is supporting you, that you are in its lap, falling asleep. Just visualize it and fall asleep. The one thing to carry is that you should go on imagining and let sleep come, so that the imagination enters into sleep; they are overlapping.

Don’t imagine any negative thing, because if people who have an imaginative capacity imagine negative things, they start happening. If you think that you are going to get ill, you will get ill. If you think that somebody is going to be rude to you, he will be. Your very imagination will create the situation.

So if a negative idea comes, immediately change it to a positive thought. Say no to it. Drop it immediately; throw it away.

Within a week you will start feeling that you are becoming very happy — for no reason at all.

Ele preferiu algo a nada.

Bom, assim já me preocupo menos... :p

Mitos e Verdades do Caminho Espiritual

Caso contrário, a meditação seria apócrifa e ineficaz.

"After my regular meditations, I have reached a point of absolute calmness in my mind. It made me realize how noisy my previous unmeditated mind was and I was not even aware of it if I hadn’t had this benchmark for comparison. This is a state which you can only experience for yourself after you start meditation. In fact, my mind is so quiet that I’m able to literally ‘hear’ thoughts as and when they come into my mind. This has increased my awareness level of my thoughts, leading to the 2nd benefit – Increase of your self-awareness."

"After I started meditating, I became much clearer of what I want. Instead of specially tuning in for answers to my questions, I become aware of the answers in me. When writing posts on this blog, the amount of time I spend contemplating is lesser. When it comes to making decisions, I can make them in a quick snap because I’m clear about what I want. Meditation has increased my connection with my inner intuition."

"With prolonged meditation, you start shedding away the lower levels of consciousness and start vibrating at a higher level of energy. Fear, Anger, Desire, Pride stop having a hold over your thoughts and behaviors. In place of that, you enter into levels of Courage, Neutrality, Willingness and above."

"A few years ago, there was a time when I was suffering from insomnia. After meditating for about 20 minutes, I eased into sleep immediately, much to my surprise. In addition, the meditation also improved my quality of sleep. When you sleep, your mind is sorting out your mental clutter. Meditating before you sleep removes the clutter and sets your mind for a more peaceful rest."

"If you are interested in the psychic phenomena such as astral projection, lucid dreaming, etc, you will find meditation as a great foundational exercise to train those skills."

"You gain increased mastery of yourself, become more positive and become rejuvenated."

Love

(link:http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=378215237061)

Love always creates fear because love is death, a greater death than the ordinary death you know of.
In an ordinary death the body dies, but that is not death at all. Body is just like a dress; when it is tatty and old you change it for a new one. It is not death, it is just a change: a change of a dress, or a change of a house or abode. But you continue, the mind continues – just the same old mind in new bodies, just the same old wine in new bottles. The form changes but not the mind, the shape changes but not the mind. So the ordinary death is not a real death. Love is a real death: the body does not die but the mind dies, the body continues to be the same but the ego disappears.
If you love, you will have to drop all the conceptions that you have about yourself. If you love, you cannot be the ego because the ego will not allow love. They are antagonistic. If you choose the ego you will not be able to choose love. If you choose love you will have to drop the ego. Hence, the fear.
A greater fear than death grips you whenever you are in love. That’s why love has disappeared from the world. Rarely, very rarely does the phenomenon happen that love descends. What you call love is just a false coin: you have invented it because it is so difficult to live without love. It is difficult because without love, life carries no meaning; it is meaningless. Without love, life has no poetry in it. Without love, the tree exists but never flowers. Without love, you cannot dance, you cannot celebrate, you cannot feel grateful, you cannot pray.
Without love, temples are just ordinary houses; with love an ordinary house is transformed, transfigured into a temple. Without love you remain just possibilities – empty gestures; with love, for the first time you become substantial. With love, for the first time, the soul arises in you; the ego drops but the soul arises.
It is impossible to live without love, so humanity has created a trick. Humanity has invented a trick, a device. The device is: to live in a false love so that the ego continues on its own. Nothing is changed, and you can play the game of being in love: you can go on thinking that you love, you can go on believing that you love. But look at your love – what happens out of it? – nothing except misery, nothing except hell, nothing except conflict, quarrel, violence. Look deeply into your love relationships. They are more akin to hate relationships than to love. It is better to call them hate relationships than to call them love relationships.
But because everybody is living in the same way, you never become aware. Everybody is carrying the false coin; you never become aware. The real coin of love is very costly: you can purchase it only at the cost of losing yourself. There is no other way.
Be courageous, don’t be cowards. The real mettle of your being is tested only when love arises. Never before it do you know of what mettle you are made. In ordinary life, in the marketplace, doing this and that, in the world of ambition and power politics, your real mettle is never really tested. You never pass through the fire.
Love is the fire. If you are really gold you will survive it. If you are not real gold, you will be gone. But I tell you that you are real gold.
Trust me – pass through the fire. Hesitation is natural, but don’t make hesitation a barrier. Even with the hesitation, pass through it. In spite of the fear pass through the fire. And only through the fire will the rose of your consciousness flower. There is no other way.

Meaning

The meaning of life is to create meaning In life.

Kind of. Portanto, e no que se reporta a mim, escrever faz parte do meu "meaning of life".

Achei isto interessante.

Adams wasn't going to live like this. He was a cartoonist, but he was also an engineer, and both fields have a tendency to attract stubborn people who are immune to rejection and who disregard obstacles. To Adams, his voice was just a problem in need of fixing. Years ago, when his career was first getting started, he came to rely on daily affirmations. He decided that in order to manifest his goals, he simply needed to keep repeating them. In 1983, while readying himself for business school, his credo was "I, Scott Adams, will score in the 94th percentile on my GMATs." He scored in the 94th percentile. Five years later, just before selling Dilbert, it was "I, Scott, will become a syndicated cartoonist." Now he constructed a new affirmation, one that played in his head all day, every day: "I, Scott, will speak perfectly."

O problema é: Quais seriam as minhas afirmações?
(I'm like, presently, in a fog...)

Seja como for: interessante.

Evolução Espiritual

Gostei muito desta visão:

Perhaps interesting would be Dane Rudhyar's view of Spiritual Evolution and Reincarnation, if I can summarize it correctly. He suggests that the idea that we have past lives is actually a spiritual illusion, coming from the misconception of the "self" as an independent entity. What he describes rather that when one dies, one leaves behind the karma of "accretions", unredeemed deeds, errors, that are a building up of matter and memory, and that the part of you that is not that excess rejoins the source. These accretions are then reanimated by another "soul", who has come to work that specific karma off, so to speak. If during a lifetime that soul comes to identify itself with that karma, then it will sense that it has "lived", perhaps many times, before; but this is an illusion. And when that soul "dies", passing out of that egoic "body", it too will leave behind a karma, a residue to be worked out, only to be animated by another soul. What this suggests is that we are working out the karma left behind by another soul, in fact a chain of souls, and that we are leaving behind accumulations for another to repair. Comforting in this thought is that you were chosen, or choose to enter this karmic body specific to your capacity to deal with those particular consequences. That burden is your dharma. In the end the process is an entire redeeming of matter, spiritualizing it, which soul after soul participates in. Just something to consider.

Meditação

Walking meditation (e mais outra):

http://ambafrance-do.org/meditation/15802.php

Isto é MUITO interessante!

Uma das minhas ETERNAS perguntas:

How can I believe in evolution if I have always been here and always will be here? Deep down a voice whispers 'What's the point?', which I don't want to hear. Evolution and Infinity seem to cancel each other out.

If everything exists all the time how can evolution move 'forward'?
