Que significa el numero 44?
Como sempre - obcecada!
(link)

"Wake up bright and early, 7am. Before you start morning rituals (shower, breakfast, etc.), try having an hour of typing. 1500 words are gone, and it’s 8am. Morning ritual time! It’s 9am. Do the thing for 2 more hours. It’s 11am, and you’ve got 4500 words. Try and do it until 12pm. Maybe you’re tired, allow yourself some spazzing out — but get two sessions in. 5500 words, and it’s just noon! Have lunch. Enjoy it. Take your time. It’s 1pm. Do sessions for 2 hours. It’s 3pm, and you’re 7000 words in. You’re doing great. Take a break until 4pm, and now do another two hours. 9000 words in, it’s 6pm, and you’re on your home stretch. Take another break, and at 7pm, try again. The words will be yours!"

Ando tão preguiçosa. Eu devia fazer isto.

Life update

John Denver
You fill up my senses...
You fill up my senses
like a night in the forest
like the mountains in springtime,
like a walk in the rain
like a storm in the desert,
like a sleepy blue ocean
you fill up my senses,
come fill me again.
Come let me love you,
let me give my life to you
let me drown in your laughter,
let me die in your arms
let me lay down beside you,
let me always be with you
come let me love you,
come love me again.
(instrumental)

like a walk in the rain
like a storm in the desert,
like a sleepy blue ocean
you fill up my senses,
come fill me again.

"I don't do a written draft. I work only on the computer and I do one page at a time. I work on a page 20, 30, 40 drafts, whatever it takes, before I move on to the next page. That way I feel that I've done as much as I can on that page and have left nothing to correct later. So that when I get a draft done, it has had so much reworking during the course of it that I don't need to go back and revisit things. I do this because I operate with a lot of self doubt and my way of handling the self doubt is to rework a page until I've got it as smooth as I can get it and then to move on."
(Tenho de experimentar este método um dia.)
"I don't use outlines at all. I stopped using outlines with a book called Strangers many years ago. Interestingly, that was my first hard cover best seller. I operate only with a hook, an idea, a premise. Call it what you will. And from that point, the story begins and I don't have much of an idea of where it is going. Crucial to me isn't the plot. Crucial to me are the characters and if the characters interest me in the first couple of chapters, then the plot is going to take care of itself because the characters will drive it places I never saw it coming."
"And in truth, when you give yourself over to whatever talent you have, and you let it work, and you give your characters free will, it does become as if they are independent people from you. Something magical occurs and you are along for the ride."
"So I just trust them. I trust the characters and that's where the plot comes from."

"A 38 year old female mortuary worker is being held on $250,000 bond after becoming pregnant by one of her clients-a dead man. The alleged crime took place at the Mourning Glory Mortuary just outside of Lexington, Missouri. Police have charged Felicity Marmaduke with desecration of the dead and necrophilia.
According to a statement made to police by Marmaduke, the alleged victim experienced a post mortem erection while being bathed. Being alone, Marmaduke straddled the dead man and proceeded have sex with him. Much to her surprise, the alleged victim came to orgasm after several minutes. A few weeks later, Marmaduke had a positive pregnancy test while receiving a routine medical exam. Upon telling her doctor the circumstances leading to the conception, the police were notified. Marmaduke was arrested without incident at her dilapidated trailer home a few blocks from the mortuary.
In a bizarre twist, Marmaduke plans to sue the dead man’s estate for child support."

Astrologia

On the “new” astrological sign: Ophiuchus
"Since astronomer Parke Kunkle dropped his little bombshell on NBC News this week that changes in the Earth’s alignment had created a 13th zodiac sign called Ophiuchus, I’ve been deluged with questions from perplexed folks. Has my sun sign really changed? What the heck is Ophiuchus, and how do you pronounce it anyway?
Ophiuchus (O-fee-uh-kus), the Serpent Holder, has been known to astrologers since ancient times. His toe touches the ecliptic (the path of the 12 major constellations) though the bulk of the Serpent Holder lies above the other constellations. If you were practicing sidereal astrology (as do the Vedic astrologers of India) in which the planets are located by constellation, it could conceivably make sense to include Ophiuchus.
But in Western astrology, we locate planets based on the seasons, not the constellations. About 4000 years ago, when on the first day of Spring the Sun was in the constellation of Aries, the two systems coincided. Now, because of precession (the slow wobble of the Earth on its axis), the Sun enters the Spring equinox in the sign of Aries but the constellation of Pisces. The systems are now approximately 23 degrees apart. Therefore, unless you were born very late in the sign, your Sun sign indeed shifts backwards in the sidereal system. A Virgo becoming a Leo? Unthinkable! Yet in the Vedic system, it makes sense."
